Terms of Use
Please read these terms carefully before using the platform.
Last updated: September 2026
Welcome to our platform. By using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use.
1. Introduction
This website is a digital marketplace where behaviour support practitioners in Australia and adjacent fields can share and sell downloadable resources. Buyers must create a free account to access resources. Free resources can be added to their personal dashboard at no cost. Paid resources require purchase via Stripe before downloading. Seller accounts are activated automatically upon completing Stripe Connect onboarding. SwapCase reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
2. Account Registration
To become a seller, you must:
- Create an account with accurate, up-to-date information.
- Complete Stripe Connect onboarding (identity and business verification is handled by Stripe Connect as part of the onboarding process).
- Resources may be removed if they breach these Terms of Use.
Accounts must not be shared. You are responsible for all activity under your login credentials.
When you sign up, you must give your real first and last name. These stay private and are never shown on the site.
You can also choose a display name, which is how you appear to other users. If you leave it blank you appear as "Anonymous". Display names must be unique, and must not impersonate another person, practitioner or organisation (including SwapCase), or be offensive or misleading. We may change or remove a display name that breaks these rules.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes.
- Not upload any material that infringes on intellectual property rights.
- Not misuse the site, including attempts to breach security or manipulate listings or reviews.
Admins reserve the right to remove any resource, user, or content that violates these terms.
4. Intellectual Property
All materials uploaded remain the intellectual property of their original creators. By uploading a resource, you grant the platform a licence to host and distribute it as part of our marketplace.
Buyers may not resell or redistribute downloaded materials. All purchases are for individual use only.
5. Seller Guidelines
Sellers must:
- Upload original content only (PDF, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint).
- Include accurate categorisation and pricing. A cover image is optional but recommended.
- Understand that only a resource's title and description can be edited after publishing. The file, cover image, price and categories are fixed, though a resource can be deleted at any time.
- Set fair prices and agree to the platform's commission structure.
SwapCase facilitates all transactions via Stripe Connect. Seller payouts are processed according to your connected Stripe account's payout schedule.
6. Payment and Pricing
Sellers set the price for each resource, in Australian dollars. All prices shown on the site and all charges are in AUD. The platform takes a commission on each sale, with the remaining balance paid to the seller. The current commission rate is 20% per sale. Sellers receive 80% of each transaction.
Payouts are processed automatically by Stripe Connect according to the seller's individual payout schedule.
Sellers may edit a resource's title and description at any time. The uploaded file, cover image, price and categories cannot be changed once published; to change any of those, a seller must delete the resource and upload a new version. Past purchases are never affected by any change.
Free and paid resources alike can be downloaded an unlimited number of times from the buyer's dashboard. Once a resource is in your dashboard it stays there, so you can download it again whenever you need it.
7. Refund Policy
Resources are digital files delivered as soon as a purchase completes, so purchases are not generally refundable.
If a file is corrupted, cannot be opened, or does not match its description, get in touch using the contact form. We review every report, and in these circumstances we may issue a refund or remove the resource.
Please report a problem with a file within 7 days of purchase.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Limitation of Liability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website or its content. The platform is not liable for:
- Loss of earnings due to technical issues.
- Incorrect resource content.
- Any third-party actions (e.g., Stripe).
Users access and use this website at their own risk.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted implies your acceptance of those changes.
A notification will appear on the site when major updates are made.
10. Contact Information

11. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from use of this platform will be subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
